Mr Sanne van Osnabrugge holds a masters degree on Climate Change Politics from the University of Amsterdam. He began organising training sessions for debating, dialogues and advocacy in Suriname in 2002. In 2007 he started Foundation Young Urban Politics, engaging youth with politics, journalism and sciences. Later he worked as designer and moderator for interactive policy and citizens’ engagement with Urban Renewal Projects in Amsterdam. He has also worked as political adviser and campaign manager for several politicians. As assistant to a member of parliament, he learned the importance of international collaboration to human development. In 2013 he began research work in climate change.
His goal is to support Caribbean communities and countries in their transition to a Climate Change Resilient future, through transnational advocacy research and in an advisory capacity.
